That's absent without guilt. Last week was amazing, largely due to the fact that my mother was here all week for a surprisingly awesome visit. Part of this awesomeness was because she was here...and part of the awesomeness, I'll freely admit, was the 24/7 childcare. Not only did we clean out the basement and make a killing in a yard sale on Saturday, we grabbed the LULZ!!!111!!! by the horn and rode like scared preschoolers.
A catalog for the ages:
SUNDAY: Mother arrives. We promptly flee to see the new Star Trek movie.
MONDAY: Extremely long walk, culminating in extremely large cones at DQ.
TUESDAY: The only night we didn't go out, as I was tired from work.
WEDNESDAY: Gran Torino at the Dollar Theatre.
THURSDAY: Day-long hike at Hocking Hills, followed by Mas Bagua at Vic's Cafe.
FRIDAY: Extreme yard sale prep. My dad came up to join us.
SATURDAY: Massive yard sale, followed by lunch with Suzanne at the Pita Hut. That evening, we took a walk around the Short North, had Jeni's ice cream, and ran into Dave Chappelle, who was standing with his entourage in front of the Black Olive (former location of the Coffee Table). Proceeded to call three friends and both my brothers in order to geek out.
SUNDAY: Parents left. Reality sank in, requiring a few too many beers and resulting in sloth-like exhaustion.
MONDAY: Roused ourselves long enough to watch a local parade and consume mass quantities of cookout food at C & K's place.
It was a great week, all in all. If only that sloth-like exhaustion would slink its way out of here...

I think I miss you? Is that weird? I just told Man Friend about trying to become you and Jason's friend by juggling for you. His question, "Uh, how did that work out for you?"
You won us over, and now we have a Mara shrine in our basement...;'} I'll take the rest of my adoration to Facebook.
It sounds like you had such a great week! Please call me anytime to geek out. Have you recovered from your week of fun?
