(It was shitty, to be precise, but I can't handle that all bold and black up there.)
Luckily, I remembered how adults handle this sort of thing, so I called a friend crying and then drank some all the wine. Game point me!!!
I then dried Eva's hair after her bath (with the blow dryer, which we call "The Princess") and walked over to my computer to find a site open that I'd clicked on before dinner but didn't have a chance to read.
I so very badly needed this today.
From the link--
"So we remember who and whose we are. We remind ourselves that the present wilderness and threat is better than the former bondage and ignorance.
Life is difficult. We are always on the way. But Jesus is the journey and the journey's end. It seems that he believes in us. That may be more important than our believing in him. He thinks we can not only survive but prevail. He tells us that we will do the works that he does, and even more. He invites us to imagine, and to ask, and to act. We have an Advocate. A Spirit with us."
As I was telling my friend G: God is good. So, so, so good. And I'm still surprised every time this happens, even though it's happening all the time now. I hope it never, ever stops.
